Team
The BPme Replatforming project involved multiple Agile teams across several countries, with over 100 team members. My team consisted of approximately 15 members and was responsible for Core Payments, the Mastercard Adapter, 3DS, and business reporting.

Challenge
The overall project aimed to replace BP’s existing payment integration with an in-house solution. This solution served as a comprehensive global payment system, designed to route transactions to the appropriate payment gateways worldwide. It supported over 10,000 pay-at-the-pump kiosks and the BPme app, collectively processing 32,000 transactions per day.
I was brought on halfway through the project to assist the team in adding features from its backlog.
Results
Overall, the project was deemed a success. BPme is now fully utilizing the new payments platform. The project was handed over to a maintenance team, and most of the original teams were disbanded.
