Team
I was hired as the CTO for the UK company and worked closely with the UK MD and product owner. I recruited two developers for the project; however, they joined toward the end of my tenure, so I completed the majority of the work on the product myself.
Challenge
I was hired to investigate and potentially implement the expansion of the French product into the UK market. Working closely with the UK product owner, I analyzed the UK market and designed a technical solution. I developed a working website demo of the proposed solution and, alongside the senior UK team, conducted several product demonstrations for UK energy suppliers.
Results
The demo website we created was well-received in initial pre-sales meetings, and we made good progress in developing data flows with ElectraLink’s demo environment integration. Unfortunately, there was no significant crossover to utilize the French SaaS solution, and there was insufficient sales traction to justify further development.
